PROJECTIVE DRAWING METHODS
Projective drawing methods are one of the major psychological approach to understand our personality or mental problems. For example, Baum test (the tree drawing test), HTP test (house-tree-person drawing test), family drawings are often used in the area of clinical psychology. Especially we focused on Synthetic HTP method; we draw house, tree, person in sigle drawing paper. We examined the human relationships in the drawings and developing the scoring system for total impression of drawings.
Human Relationships in S-HTP
We examined the human relationships in S-HTP drawings by Japanese adolescents. The result shows drawings by girls more frequently includes human relationships than boys. The result is one of the useful evidences that projective drawing methods represents our style of communication with others.

STID :the Scale for Total Impression of Drawings
STID is a scoraing sysytem which can evaluate total impression of drawing works. It has two main viewpoints of "emotional stability" and "context consistency". These subscales also includes 4 factors such as "vitality", "gentleness", "theme", and "reality".
